Bananas!
Bananas are a staple in my house.
They are the perfect add-in to my oatmeal. I love them as a snack after I work out, especially with some peanut butter on them. I add them to my protein shakes, too.
However, it seems that they often ripen before I can eat them all. Rather than let them go to waste, try this tip once your bananas get ripe.
Peel them, slice them up and place them on a single layer on a cookie sheet sprayed lightly with cooking spray.
Pop the tray in the freezer for about an hour and then transfer to either a plastic bag or a container.
Next time you want banana slices in your smoothie or protein shake, throw them in!
